My system is beeping:   Your system is telling you to add more salt or potassium.
 
The New EC4 unit: 1) Push and hold the bottom arrow on the customer settings 1 second.
                            2) It will say "loading customer settings. Then the salt display will appear
                            3) Push the up arrow to tell it how may bags of salt you put in.
                            4) Push the "enter" button. Then you're done!
 
The Amazon Gold Series:  1) Push the "Program-Enter" 2 times until the "s" button appears
                                       2) Push the "up" arrow to tell it how many bags you put in.
                                       3) Push the "Program-Enter" button again. That's it!
 
The older computer model: 1) Push the "quiet alarm" button.
                                        2) Push the "Salt" button.
                                        3) enter in the pounds of salt you put in.
                                        4) Hit the "Enter" button.

My system says "drinking water expired". Is it safe?:  
Yes - This is your system's way of telling you it's time to change your filters soon. Contact US to arrange your annual filter change and system checkup..

 
How often should I Backwash my Reverse Osmosis?:   We recommend once a week.
    To do this, turn the knob on top of the three filters half-way. You'll hear a gurgling sound.
    Turn your R.O. faucet on and let it drain all the water out. Once drained, turn the faucet
    off and turn the knob on the canisters back the other way. That's it!
 
Can I use my leftover soap and cleaners with Rainsoft water?   Absolutely! Just use alot less of it. For a whole load of laundry, instead of a cup, use 1/4 cup. For washing your hair, just a little dab will do you. Once you've gone through your leftover cleaners, use ours as directed and skip that smelly aisle at the grocery store for good!
 
I love your soap, how do I get more?   You can order another supply of soap through our office, or just get one item at a time. Just contact our office by the "Contact Us" link here on the website, or stop by our location for fast, easy service. Either way, we'll make sure you've got what you need!
 
If I move, can I take my system with me?  Absolutely! Contact us when you're ready to move. We will disconnect your system and reconnect it once you get moved in.
 
This month's TIP: Your Rainsoft system comes with a limited lifetime warranty, which means it's limited to YOUR lifetime. If you move, we highly recommend taking the system with you. Contact us if you are moving. By all means, don't let it go with the house unless your buyers are willing to pay more to get it.
 
ALERT TO OUR CUSTOMERS: Unfortunately, we are receiving calls from customers having service or filter replacements done from someone other than Rainsoft. Please report this to us immediately  and DO NOT allow them to work on your unit, as this voids out your warranty. We will not allow inferior filters or parts to be placed on our equipment.
